CMAT 2019 Syllabus – 4 Sections, 100 Questions of 400 Marks

CMAT 2019 SyllabusA candidate who is interested to appear for CMAT 2019 entrance exam should follow the CMAT 2019 Syllabus to make their plans. CMAT 2019 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode: CMAT 2019 MBA Exam will be conducted through Online mode on 27th January 2019.

Time Duration: 3 hours.

No. of Questions: 100 multiple choices

Total Marks: 400 marks.

Subjects: Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

Marking Scheme: For a correct answer, four marks will be allotted to the candidates. There will be negative marking of 1 mark for the wrong answer.

JEE Main 2019JEE Main 2019 Application Form will be available from the 1st September 2018. This is the entrance test which is commenced by the NTA (National Test Agency) for the admission into engineering programs in India. From this year, JEE Main entrance exam will be conducted twice a year i.e. JEE Main January 2019 and JEE Main April  2019. 1st September 2018 – National Testing Agency (NTA) has released JEE Main 2019 Application Form at jeemain.nic.in and not nta.ac.in.

23rd August 2018 – JEE Main 2019 Registration begins 1 Sept 2018, Exam in Jan/Apr ’19.

20th August 2018 – It is officially announced that JEE Main Exam from 2019 onwards will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and in online mode only.

11th August 2018 – JEE Advanced about to end – A new proposal is being discussed at the IIT Council, Stay update for confirmation. IITs planning to modify their ways of UG education, looking into the direction of transforming themselves into high-end education institutes.

JEE Main 2019 Application Form

If you are interested in applying for the JEE Main 2019, then you have to do the same at the official website. The process of JEE Main 2019 will be having major 3 steps and the same will be as follows.

  • Firstly, you have to fill in the application form.
  • Secondly, the process of uploading the photograph.
  • The 3rd process is to provide the signature and making the payment.

The following is the process of filling the JEE Main 2019 Registration in step by step method.

  1. Visit the official website of JEE Main 2019 and click on the tab for new registration. (You have to keep your Aadhar Number ready before doing the same).
  2. You have to provide the Valid Email Id and Mobile Number.
  3. You will be asked to choose a strong password which must be included with upper and lower case letters for the security of the account.
  4. In the next process, you have to check all the details which have provided by you.
  5. You will be asked to upload Passport Size Photograph, Signature, and Left Hand Thumb Impression in the asked size.
  6. After the above-given process, you have to pay the application fee in any of the asked ways.

JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction

The correction process of JEE Main 2019 will be as follows. The following points show the correction process of JEE Main 2018 Application Form.

  1. You will be allowed to make the JEE Main 2019 correction in uploaded images only (Signature & Photograph).
  2. The correction process will be commenced in December/ January month of 2019.
  3. In the correction window, you will be able to make changes in exam mode from PBT to CBT, the city of the examination, change of paper from Paper 1 to Paper 2.
  4. You must notice that you are allowed to make changes in selected fields only.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria details of JEE Main 2019 will be as follows. According to the official authority, the following will be the eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2019. Take a look at the following to know more.

  1. You must have qualified in 12th/ 10+2/ HSE/ HSC/ HSSLC/ Intermediate/ PUC/ Pre Degree/ Plus Two or any other equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as main subjects.
  2. Your maximum number of previous attempts in JEE Main will be limited to 3.

The eligibility criteria have basically derived into major two parts and those will be Age Criteria & Qualification criteria. Take a look at the following table to know more on the criteria of JEE Main 2019.

Age Criteria

The eligibility for JEE Main 2019 on the age basis will be as follows.

Date of Birth If you are an applicant who born on or after of 1st October of 1994, then you will be eligible to apply in for JEE Main 2019.
Relaxation There will be a 5-year relaxation will be given an upper age limit relaxation for SC/ ST/ PWD aspirants. So their DOB falls on or after of 1st October of 1989. The date of birth will be determined on the basis of secondary education certificate (10th Standard).

Qualification Exam

The eligibility for JEE Main 2019 on the qualification basis will be as follows.

Qualifying Examination You must have qualified in 12th or any equivalent examination with 5 subjects from any board.
Subjects You must have had qualified in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in qualifying examination.
Minimum Marks There will be no minimum marks mentioned for qualifying examination. You just need to pass the qualifying test.
Passing Year If you are an applicant who has appeared and passed the qualifying examination in 2017/ 2018, then you will be eligible to apply. All the aspirants who are appearing for the final examination of qualifying certificate (12th) in 2019 are also eligible to fill the JEE Main 2019 Application Form. If you are an applicant who has appeared in qualifying examination in 2015 but not passed in the same year and passed in 2016, then you are not eligible.
Diploma Holders If you are a Diploma holder, then you can apply for JEE Main 2019. But you will be eligible for admission into IITs only.

If you want to get admission into IITs/ NITs/ CFTIs, then you must obtain 75% marks in the 12th examination/ must be in top 20% in the 12th Examination of the respective boards. For the SC/ ST candidates, the qualifying marks will be 65%.

Number of Questions Each subject will be having 30 questions. So there will be a total of 90 questions which comprises 360 marks.
Type of Questions There will be objective type questions asked.
Exam Language The language of the examination will be either English/ Hindi. (Exam Centres in Gujarat Cities, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli will be having English, Hindi, and Gujarati as the language of the examination).
Duration of the Examination The total duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
Marking Method Each correct answer will be rewarded with 4 marks.
Each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of one mark(s).

The exam pattern for JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 will be as follows.

Examination Mode The examination will be commenced in PBT (Offline) mode.

Number of Questions The Part 1 of the examination will be having 30 questions and in Part 2 there will be 50 questions. So there will be a total of 80 questions which comprises 390 marks.
Type of Questions There will be subjective questions in Drawing Test and objective type questions will be asked in Mathematics and Aptitude Test.
Language of the Examination The language of the examination will be either English/ Hindi. (Exam Centres in Gujarat Cities, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli will be having English, Hindi, and Gujarati as the language of the examination).
Duration of the Examination The total duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
Marking Method Each correct answer will be rewarded with 4 marks.
Each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of one mark(s).

The authority of JEE Main will announce the JEE Main 2019 Admit Card in online mode. It is expected that the Admit Card of JEE Main 2019 will be declared in the month of March of 2019. The following points will give you some idea on JEE Main 2019 Admit Card.

  1. The admit card can be downloaded after the submission of application form.
  2. The admit card is expected to be available online in the month of March 2019.
  3. The CBSE will be the official authority who releases the JEE Main 2019 Admit Card.

  5. Every admit card will be having details such as Exam Schedule, Exam Centre Details, and Candidates Details etc.

JEE Main 2019 Answer Key

JEE Main authority will announce the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key in April month of 2019. You will be able to predict your marks by cross-checking the answers which you have given with the correct answers in Answer Key.

  • If you are going to challenge the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key, then you have to pay rupees 1000/- per question.
  • The Answer Key of JEE Main 2019 will be published as OMR sheets of Paper 1 & 2.
  • It is expected that the authority will publish the answer key in the April month of 2019.

JEE Main Result 2019

After the announcement of the result, the JEE Main authority will declare the result of JEE Main 2019 on April month of 2019 itself. You will be able to check your results on the official website in online mode. Read the following points to get more.

Changes in NEET 2019 Exam Pattern

Following we have provided key points of changes occurred in NEET exam pattern:

  • As per the latest notification by the National Test Agency, The mode of NEET 2019 exam will be conducted through offline mode only i.e. pen and paper-based test. Earlier this medical exam was conducted through online and offline mode.
  • First, the NTA board have decided to conduct the NEET exam twice a year. Later this decision was changed and from now onwards, NEET Medical exam will be conducted only once a year.
  • The official authority of this medical entrance exam has also been changed. Earlier this exam was conducted by CBSE Board, from the year 2019 it will be officially conducted by the NTA board.

NEET 2019 Marking Scheme

In this section, we have explained how the NEET 2019 Marking scheme has been decided by the NTA board. The candidate who will appear for the NEET exam for the year 2019, their marks will be on the basis of following marking scheme.

  • The candidate will gain plus (+) four marks for each correct answer.
  • In case, if a candidate gives an incorrect answer minus (-) 1 mark will be deducted from their score for each wrong answer.
  • There will no marks are given for the questions which unattempted question.

The National Test Agency has kept no compulsion on answering or attempting any specific no. of questions. Therefore candidates can attempt as many as they can and mark answers. It should, however, be noted that candidates must mark answers carefully in the OMR sheet.

NEET 2019 Marks Calculation Method

Here we have given the calculation method of NEET 2019 marks, please check out the following steps for the same.

The candidate has to check the official NEET 2019 answer key ORM sheet and calculate their correct and incorrect answers from the no. of attempted questions.

We will assume the no. of question which is answers correctly as “C”.

Now we will assume the no. of the incorrect answers as “I”.

Now use the marketing scheme of NEET exam i.e. +4 marks for the correct answers and -$ marks for incorrect answers.

After all this the formula to calculate NEET 2019 score will be

Marks in NEET 2019 = (4 x C) – (I x 1
